Gretel received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona in Psychology, minoring in Child Education and Child Development. She then went on to pursue a Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. Ms. Gretel is currently completing her Clinical Fellowship year at Laryngenesis.

While in graduate school, Ms. Gretel gained experience working with children in inclusive classrooms, some with ABA therapy, and did multiple rotations in schools and other private practices who worked with children birth to 18. Ms. Gretel’s approach to therapy is very child-center and play-based, being able to adapt and be flexible while also maintaining some form of structure.

Gretel loves spending time with her long-time boyfriend, son Mateo (6), and their two puppies, Nala and Lilo. During her free time, Gretel loves to go dancing, reading, and since she and her family are originally from Arizona, they love to go and explore everything Albuquerque.
